Brittany cooke

brittany cooke - architect

Britt was a high school work experience student at Paul Uhlmann Architects in 2010. The experience convinced her a career in architecture was for her, and whilst completing a Bachelor of Architectural Studies at Bond University in 2014, she started working at PUA as a student part time. Upon completing her Masters of Architecture at the University of Queensland in 2017, Britt started full time employment at PUA as she worked towards registration.

Having grown up on the Gold Coast & Northern NSW, Britt has an unrivalled appreciation of her home town and has always wanted to help add and enhance the built environment of the area. Her passion is the preservation and celebration of the traditional architecture of SEQ; the humble fibro beach house or old timber Queenslander.

Britt enjoys working directly with clients and understanding quirks in their brief about their way of living and how it can translate in to thoughtful and individual architecture. Her key projects include Daybreak Residence in Casuarina, The Byron House in Byron Bay and Cloud View in Springbrook.

When she’s not at work, Britt can be found restaurant hopping, at the beach, or exploring the east coast by boat, her Ridgeback Ted in tow.
