The project involved a substantial refurbishment, reconfiguration and addition to an existing beach house. The house consisted of two separate levels that had no physical connection. The renovation inserted a physical and visual link between the two floors, via an internal stair and void space. Two new outdoor rooms were created providing specific spaces to enjoy the magnificent views and environment. A master bedroom wing was created providing a private retreat to enjoy the spectacular views beyond.
