Located in a small coastal village of Fingal Head in Northern NSW, this house is a response to the client’s cultural background. The finishes and colours of the timber cladding allow for an apparent weathering of the building, expressing a nostalgic relationship with the weathered stone cottages of the Gaelic Coast.
The planning allows for an abundance of natural light and ventilation, and acts as a place of calm and solace away from the extremities of the natural and built environments.
